Epixlife Collaborates on a Groundbreaking Study on Sleep Apnea in Women

EstudioSDrive-Investigacion

As part of our mission to advance well-being through innovation, Epixlife is proud to participate in an academic study investigating the effects of a multidisciplinary approach in women with sleep apnea. This ongoing project incorporates Cell Wellbeing’s S-Drive technology as one of the evaluation tools through Epixlife’s optimization reports, within a rigorous clinical protocol. Led by Dr. Leire Fradua (external collaborator and institutional liaison between Epixlife and the research team), the study focuses on analyzing how nutrition, physical activity, and psychological support can impact the quality of life in women affected by sleep apnea—many of whom depend on respiratory devices or medication and face significant daily limitations. The protocol includes a comprehensive series of tests conducted before and after a three-month intervention: blood pressure monitoring, physical assessments, clinical analyses, psychological evaluations, bone densitometry, and S-Drive optimization reports.

To date, the first group of 25 participants has completed the intervention, and the second group, consisting of around 50 women, is in its final phase. Post-intervention analyses are scheduled for June. The project is carried out in collaboration with researchers from the University of Granada and other institutions and is based on a protocol that previously showed promising results in male participants. At Epixlife, we remain committed to supporting scientific research and demonstrating the impact of the epigenetic approach in projects that improve people’s lives in measurable and meaningful ways. We are deeply inspired by the opportunity to contribute to improving the lives of women who have lived for years with silent challenges. Every step in this study is also a step toward a freer, more empowered, and more informed life.
